My work is derived from the out-of-doors, inspired by the

colors, shapes and textures of the Pacific Northwest,

be it urban, suburban, rural or even deep in the forest.

The elements within each piece are abstract and non-recognizable.

My collages consist of multiple elements in various sizes

including paper, cardboard and scraps of material

from discarded cartons, boxes, newspapers and magazines.

I work to keep recognizable images at a minimum.

The abstract shapes allow the viewer to their own conclusions.

Creating the work is a discovery and an adventure that

I hope to take the viewer along.
